Organized by Need Vikas Sanstha in collaboration with well known corporate company’s employee.

With rapid urban development across metro cities, many bird species—especially sparrows—are losing their natural nesting spaces. To create awareness and encourage eco-friendly action, NEED Vikas Sanstha conducted a “Sparrow House Making” workshop with the enthusiastic participation of this employees.

The session began with an introduction by Need Vikas Sanstha, highlighting the importance of building birdhouses in urban areas. We also shared the inspiring efforts of Mr. Mahendra Mistry, who has been passionately working for over five years toward bird safety and community awareness on nest-making and feeding practices.

Under Mr. Mistry’s mentorship, employees learned how to craft wooden sparrow houses. This was the first experience of its kind for many participants, who thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on activity using the provided tools and materials. The workshop concluded with over 37 sparrow houses successfully created, each of which was taken home by the employees to install and support local bird life.

This meaningful initiative not only spread awareness but also inspired participants to take small yet impactful steps toward environmental conservation.
