Theย STEM Scholars: Shaping the next Generation of Innovatorsย an initiative by Nasscom Foundation and supported by Optum CSR initiative empowers underprivileged and economically disadvantaged students in STEM by providing financial aid, mentorship, and internship opportunities to 3rd and 4th-year students in B.E./B.Tech, Pharmacy or Life Sciences program across Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
Eligibility:-
- Open to students in the 3rd and 4th year of B.E./B.Tech programs in Computer Science, Pharmacy, and Life Sciences.
- Open to students pursuing a 5-year Integrated Engineering Programme combining a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree (e.g., B.Tech + M.Tech, B.E. + M.E), provided they are in their 4th or 5th year.
- Applicants studying in any government or private institutes in Delhi / Bengaluru / Chennai / Hyderabad.
- Preference to be given to SC, ST, OBC, PwD, single parent, orphan, and girls applicants.
- Applicants must have scored a minimum of 65% marks in Class 12th.
- Applicants must have an annual family income from all sources up to INR 8 lakh.
- Children of employees, Partners, and Donors will not be eligible for the said scholarship.
Prizes & Rewards:
Selected students will receive aย one-year scholarshipย ofย INR 30,000.
