Through the efforts of the NEED Vikas Sanstha, a computer lab has been established at Dahivali Madhyamik School in Shahapur. Recognizing the growing importance of digital literacy and the need to develop computer skills among students, this initiative was undertaken to empower them for the future. Students from nearly 10 to 12 nearby hamlets come to this school for their education. A few months ago, the school building was renovated, and the principal had reserved a dedicated room for the computer lab. To ensure its effective utilization, various efforts were underway.

At the same time, Majlis, a Mumbai-based organization, generously donated 10 computers, providing a valuable opportunity for the students of Dahivali School to gain hands-on computer experience.

Additionally, the institution aims to extend this benefit to students from nearby primary schools as well. Currently, college students from the area have to travel 4–5 kilometers to Shahapur or Murbad for computer courses. The organization is now planning to offer such training programs within the school itself in the near future.

We sincerely thank Majlis and Ms. Audrey for their generous contribution of computers. This small beginning is sure to bring a meaningful and lasting change in the educational journey of these students.
